Fibronectin is a ubiquitous protein of the extracellular matrix. It is a mosaic protein, that is made up of three types of repeating modular consensus amino acid sequences.[2] Fibronectins belongs to a class of high-molecular-weight glycoproteins.[1] Cellular fibronectin is expressed by fibroblasts and plasma fibronectin is usually liberated by hepatocytes.[2]
Fibronectin (FN) bovine plasma has been used in:

Fibronectins participate in cell adhesion, cytoskeletal organization, oncogenic transformation, cell migration, phagocytosis, hemostasis, and embryonic differentiation.[1]
