Transferrin is an 80 kDa serum glycoprotein,[4] which is expressed in hepatocytes.[5] The gene is located on human chromosome 3q22.1.[2]
Transferrin Human has been used to perform immunoprecipitation measurements.[8] It has also been used for the preparation of essential 8 medium.[9][10]
